This crane ornament comes flat and attached to a blank greeting card. It can be mailed and then the recipient gently spreads it’s wings into a crane with a 6″ wingspan hanging from a gold thread ( instructions for opening included). The story of Sadako is also enclosed (please see bottom of my biography page to read her story).

Crane Sphere Ornament
This beautiful ornament is made from 30 pieces of 2″ square Japanese Washi paper, with a small gold crane suspended from a silk thread in it’s center. It is approximately 4″ in diameter. This module was created by David Mitchell who can be found at Origami Heaven.
Crane Wheel Ornament
This ornament is made from 16 pieces of 2.5″ washi papers which are folded into the same units as the sphere ornament (above) but assembled following a different pattern. A 1.5″ crane is suspended from a silk thread in the center of the ornament.
